Tiger Nut Milk Facial Cleanser
A gentle, allergen-friendly cleanser option for anyone avoiding tree nuts specifically, since tiger nuts are botanically a tuber rather than a true nut, this makes the section broadly useful for sensitive populations who need to avoid the almond- and cashew-based formulas elsewhere in the book.

- Phase A (Aqueous Phase)
- ¼ cup (60 mL / 60g) Tiger Nut Milk

- 1 tsp (5 mL / 4.5g) Sweet Almond Oil
Method & application
- Combine tiger nut milk and sweet almond oil in a glass beaker.
- Add liquid castile soap slowly, stirring gently with a spoon to avoid forming air bubbles.
- Transfer into a pump dispenser.
- APPLICATION
- Massage 1 pump onto damp facial skin in circular movements for 60 seconds. Rinse thoroughly with warm water.
Kitchen note
If cleansing for someone with a genuine tree nut allergy, double-check that your sweet almond oil is being substituted with a non-nut oil like sunflower oil, since almond oil itself is a tree nut derivative even though tiger nut milk is not.
