Rice Milk Daily Cleansing Fluid
Jojoba oil is technically a liquid wax ester, not a true oil, which gives it a uniquely non-greasy, fast-absorbing profile close to skin's own sebum, a good match for rice milk's own light, starch-based texture in a daily cleanser meant for sensitive or easily irritated skin.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Aqueous Phase)
- ¼ cup (60 mL / 60g) Fresh Rice Milk
- Phase B (Cleansing / Surfactant Phase)
- 1 tbsp (15 mL / 15g) Unscented Liquid Castile Soap
- Phase C (Lipid / Humectant Phase)
- 1 tsp (5 mL / 4.5g) Jojoba Oil (Simmondsia chinensis)
- ½ tsp (2.5 mL / 3.5g) Raw Honey
Method & application
- Combine fresh rice milk, jojoba oil, and raw honey in a glass beaker. Whisk until honey is dissolved.
- Slowly pour castile soap into the mixture.
- Stir gently with a spoon to avoid building foam.
- Transfer into a glass pump dispenser.
- APPLICATION
- Pump 1–2 doses onto wet palms. Massage gently onto damp skin for 60 seconds, then rinse with lukewarm water.
Kitchen note
Rice milk's natural starch content means this cleanser can feel slightly different in texture from the book's other milk cleansers, a light, silky rather than creamy feel, which is characteristic rather than a flaw.
