Rice Milk Brightening Face Mask
Kaolin clay is the mildest of the common cosmetic clays, gentle enough for facial use, and here it's paired with rice flour's own fine, brightening-associated texture and ferulic acid content for a mask that mildly resurfaces and absorbs excess oil at once.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Aqueous Phase)
- 2 tbsp (30 mL / 30g) Unsweetened Rice Milk
- Phase B (Active Exfoliating / Absorbent Base)
- 1 tbsp (8g) White Kaolin Clay
- 1 tsp (3g) Finely Ground Rice Flour (Oryza sativa)
- 1 tsp (5 mL / 7g) Raw Honey
Method & application
- Whisk kaolin clay and rice flour together in a small non-metallic glass bowl.
- Add raw honey and unsweetened rice milk.
- Mix thoroughly using a wooden or silicone spatula until a smooth, cream-like paste forms.
- APPLICATION
- Paint an even layer onto clean facial skin using a mask brush.
- Allow the mask to dry for 10–12 minutes (do not let clay dry to the cracking point).
- Re-wet with warm water to soften, then gently massage in circular motions while rinsing.
Kitchen note
Keep a small spray bottle of water nearby during wear time, a light mist halfway through prevents the mask from fully drying and cracking if your bathroom runs warm or well-ventilated.
