Oat Milk Soothing Face Mask
The 3-minute rest period is a deliberate hydration step, not a shortcut you can skip: it's the time it takes ground oats to fully absorb the liquid milk and swell into a soft, gel-like texture that spreads smoothly rather than sitting gritty on skin.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Aqueous Phase)
- 2 tbsp (30 mL / 30g) Liquid Oat Milk
- Phase B (Botanical Soothing Matrix)
- 1 tbsp (7g) Finely Ground Oats
- 1 tsp (5 mL / 7g) Raw Honey
Method & application
- Measure finely ground oats and raw honey into a small glass bowl.
- Pour liquid oat milk slowly over the dry phase while whisking with a mini silicone spatula.
- Let the mixture rest for 3 minutes to allow oat beta-glucans to hydrate into a soft gel texture.
- APPLICATION
- Smooth an even layer over clean face and neck using fingertips or a soft cosmetic brush.
- Rest for 15 minutes. Rinse off with cool water, massaging gently in circular motions.
Kitchen note
Don't skip the 3-minute rest, applying immediately after mixing, before the oats have hydrated, gives a noticeably grittier, less pleasant mask experience.
