Oat Milk Calming Toner
Unlike the Goat Milk Lactic Acid Toner (Section 2, Recipe 15), this toner is formulated with no astringent or acid component whatsoever, rosewater and aloe are both calming rather than tightening, and oat milk contributes its usual anti-inflammatory beta-glucans.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Aqueous Active Phase)
- ½ cup (120 mL / 120g) Liquid Oat Milk
- ¼ cup (60 mL / 60g) Organic Rosewater Hydrosol
- Phase B (Soothing Active)
- 1 tsp (5 mL / 5g) Pure Aloe Vera Gel
Method & application
- Whisk liquid oat milk and rosewater hydrosol together in a glass beaker.
- Stir in aloe vera gel until thoroughly integrated without clumps.
- Pour into a sanitized amber spray bottle.
- APPLICATION
- Mist directly onto clean facial skin, or saturate a cotton disk and gently press over face and neck. Follow with serum or moisture cream.
Kitchen note
If your spray bottle's nozzle clogs, it's almost always the aloe gel, thin it slightly further with an extra teaspoon of hydrosol before bottling if this becomes a recurring issue.
