Macadamia Milk Barrier Repair Lip Balm
Positioned specifically for chronic, ongoing chapping rather than occasional dryness, macadamia's sebum-mimicking omega-7 profile offers a genuinely different kind of repair than the plain moisture-sealing action of the book's other lip balms, addressing the lipid barrier itself rather than just blocking water loss.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Wax & Oil Phase)
- 2 tbsp (28g) Beeswax Pellets
- 2 tbsp (30 mL / 28g) Macadamia Nut Oil
- Phase B (Active Dry Powder Matrix)
- 1 tbsp (8g) Macadamia Milk Powder (or Almond Milk Powder)
Method & application
- Melt beeswax pellets and macadamia nut oil in a double boiler over low heat until liquid.
- Sift milk powder into the liquid wax phase, whisking continuously until smooth and lump-free.
- Carefully pour the hot liquid balm into lip balm tubes or small metal tins.
- Allow to cool undisturbed for 20 minutes until set.
- APPLICATION
- Glide onto lips as needed throughout the day for deep lipid restoration and protection.
Kitchen note
If lips are chronically chapped despite regular balm use, also check that the balm itself isn't the trigger, some people are sensitive to beeswax or specific carrier oils, and rotating formulas (as this book allows) can help identify the culprit.
