Lavender & Almond Milk Sleep Mask
Lavender's calming, sleep-supportive aromatic reputation is genuinely well documented, and applying it as part of a bedtime skincare step (rather than just as a room scent) gives this overnight mask a dual purpose: skin hydration plus a sensory wind-down cue that can support the broader sleep routine.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Hydro-Gel Phase)
- 2 tbsp (30 mL / 30g) Fresh Almond Milk
- 1 tbsp (15 mL / 15g) Pure Aloe Vera Gel
- Phase B (Lipid Phase)
- 1 tsp (5 mL / 4.5g) Sweet Almond Oil
- Phase C (Aromatic)
- 2 drops Pure Lavender Essential Oil (Lavandula angustifolia)
Method & application
- Whisk almond milk and aloe vera gel together in a small beaker until the gel dissolves.
- Add sweet almond oil and lavender essential oil drop-by-drop while whisking vigorously to suspend.
- APPLICATION
- Smooth a light layer over clean face and neck 20 minutes before sleep. Leave on overnight and rinse with lukewarm water in the morning.
Kitchen note
Apply this specifically 20 minutes before lying down, not right before, that window lets the lavender's aromatic effect start working as part of your wind-down routine rather than only once you're already trying to fall asleep.
