Potato Milk Vanilla Latte
A clean, neutral-tasting latte where potato milk's blank flavor lets the vanilla and espresso lead completely.
By Aunesty Janssen · The Arrogant Hippie Culinary Journal: Potato Milk Edition
Ingredients
- 1 cup Potato Milk
- 1 tbsp Vanilla Syrup
- 1 shot Espresso, or 1/2 cup strong brewed coffee
Method
- Warm the potato milk gently in a saucepan over medium-low heat until steaming.
- Froth using a milk frother or by whisking vigorously.
- Stir the vanilla syrup into the espresso.
- Pour the warm frothed potato milk over the espresso.
- Serve immediately.
Kitchen note
Potato milk's neutral flavor is a genuine advantage in a simple latte like this, nothing competes with the vanilla or the coffee itself.
