Oat Milk Overnight Oats
The ultimate double-oat combination, where oat milk's naturally sweet, faintly cereal-forward flavor amplifies the rolled oats it soaks overnight instead of competing with them.

Ingredients
- 1.5 cups Oat Milk
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1 tbsp Chia Seeds
- 2 tbsp Maple Syrup
- 1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Pinch of Cinnamon
- Fresh Fruit, to top
Method
- Combine the oat milk, rolled oats, chia seeds, maple syrup, vanilla, and cinnamon in a jar or container.
- Stir thoroughly to make sure the chia seeds are evenly distributed and not clumped at the bottom.
- Cover and refrigerate for a minimum of 4 hours, or overnight.
- Stir again before serving, loosening with a splash of cold oat milk if the mixture has thickened more than you like.
- Top with fresh fruit just before eating.

Why this recipe works
Oat milk amplifies rolled oats while chia adds enough water-binding power for a spoonable breakfast without cooking.
Ingredient notes
- Use rolled oats for structure.
- Distribute chia thoroughly.
- Unsweetened oat milk gives better sweetness control.
- Add fresh fruit at service.
Texture control
Because oat milk and oats both contribute starch, correct consistency only after the full chilling period.
Storage
Refrigerate sealed and add fruit or crunchy toppings immediately before serving.
Kitchen note
Because oat milk carries more natural starch than nut milks, this sets up thicker than almond or soy milk versions. If you prefer a looser texture, start with an extra two tablespoons of oat milk and adjust from there.
