By Aunesty Janssen · The Arrogant Hippie Culinary Journal: Hemp Milk Edition
Ingredients
- 2 cups Unsweetened Hemp Milk
- 3 oz Dark Chocolate, chopped
- 1 tbsp Sugar
- 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
- Pinch of Cayenne Pepper
- Pinch of Salt
Method
- Heat the hemp milk in a saucepan over medium heat until steaming.
- Whisk in the chopped chocolate until fully melted and smooth.
- Stir in the sugar, cinnamon, cayenne, and salt.
- Warm gently for 2 more minutes without boiling.
- Pour into mugs and serve immediately.
Kitchen note
This drink can hold at a warm temperature on the stove longer than a dairy hot cocoa without separating — useful if you're serving a crowd and need it to stay ready over 20 or 30 minutes.
