Goat Milk Body Butter
This is a whipped, anhydrous butter, no water phase at all, which is what gives it its very long 2–3 month shelf life compared to the section's fresh and refrigerated formulas.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Hard Butters & Oils)
- ½ cup (110g) Raw Shea Butter
- ¼ cup (60 mL / 55g) Coconut Oil
- 2 tbsp (30 mL / 28g) Sweet Almond Oil
- Phase B (Active Dry Powder)
- ¼ cup (30g) Goat Milk Powder
Method & application
- Melt shea butter and coconut oil together in a double boiler over medium-low heat.
- Stir in sweet almond oil and remove heat source.
- Sift goat milk powder into melted butter mixture while whisking vigorously to prevent lumps.
- Place bowl in refrigerator for 20–30 minutes until mixture turns opaque and partially firm around edges (soft-set state).
- Remove from fridge and whip with hand mixer on high speed for 3–5 minutes until light, fluffy whipped cream peaks form.
- Scoop into clean glass amber jars.
- APPLICATION
- Smooth a small amount over body after bathing. The butter will melt instantly upon contact with skin heat.
Kitchen note
Whip in a chilled metal bowl rather than a room-temperature glass one, it helps the mixture hold its soft-set temperature longer during the whipping process, giving you a fluffier final result.
