Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1 1/4 cups cold camel milk, plus more to loosen
- 3 Medjool dates, pitted and finely chopped
- 1 tbsp chia seeds
- 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- Pinch fine salt
- Toasted nuts, optional
Method
- Combine oats, dates, chia, cinnamon and salt in a jar or covered bowl, separating sticky date pieces.
- Pour in camel milk and stir thoroughly into the bottom and corners.
- Rest 5 minutes, then stir again to redistribute chia before it gels.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight.
- Stir from the bottom. The oats should be creamy and spoonable with softened date throughout.
- Loosen with camel milk 1 tablespoon at a time if needed and finish with toasted nuts.

Cook With Confidence
Use the sensory cues in the method rather than treating the clock as the only measure of doneness.
Ingredient Intelligence
Camel milk is handled gently throughout these recipes; avoid unnecessary hard boiling and make liquid adjustments in small increments.
Make-Ahead & Storage
Refrigerate promptly in covered containers. Keep crisp toppings and fresh fruit separate until service so texture survives.
Serving Strategy
Balance creamy bases with something fresh, crisp, tart, toasted, or aromatic rather than simply adding more sweetness or richness.
Kitchen note
Camel milk's naturally faint sweetness and salinity pairs beautifully with dates, a good showcase for the milk's own flavor rather than something to mask.
