Ingredients
- Phase A (Liquid Phase)
- ¼ cup (60 mL / 60g) Full-Fat Coconut Milk
- 1 tbsp (15 mL / 14g) Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, melted
- Phase B (Active Essential Oil)
- 5 drops Pure Peppermint Essential Oil (Mentha piperita)
Method & application
- Whisk melted coconut oil into full-fat coconut milk in a small bowl.
- Add 5 drops peppermint essential oil and stir thoroughly.
- APPLICATION
- Part dry hair into sections. Apply treatment directly to scalp using an applicator bottle or cotton ball.
- Massage scalp gently with fingertips for 5 minutes.
- Leave on for 20 minutes before shampooing and rinsing clean.
Kitchen note
Apply to fully dry hair, not damp, this is a pre-shampoo treatment, and starting on wet hair meaningfully reduces how well the oil can penetrate the scalp and shaft.
