Coconut Milk Lip Balm
The same lip balm structure used throughout this book, here concentrated entirely around coconut for a single-note tropical profile and coconut oil's particularly fast-absorbing, deeply softening reputation on chapped, cracked lip tissue specifically.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Wax & Lipid Matrix)
- 2 tbsp (28g) Beeswax Pellets
- 2 tbsp (30 mL / 28g) Extra Virgin Coconut Oil
- Phase B (Active Dry & Humectant)
- 1 tbsp (8g) Coconut Milk Powder
- 1 tsp (5 mL / 7g) Raw Honey
Method & application
- Melt beeswax pellets and coconut oil together in a double boiler over low heat.
- Sift coconut milk powder into the liquid wax phase and whisk until completely smooth.
- Drizzle in raw honey while whisking continuously.
- Carefully pour hot liquid into lip balm tubes or metal tins using a mini pour spout or dropper.
- Allow to cool undisturbed for 20 minutes until solid.
- APPLICATION
- Glide onto lips as needed throughout the day for barrier protection and deep softening.
Kitchen note
This balm sets slightly softer than the beeswax-and-almond-oil versions elsewhere in the book due to coconut oil's lower melting point, store in a tin rather than a push-up tube if you live somewhere warm.
