Ingredients
- Phase A (Aqueous Phase)
- ½ cup (120 mL / 120g) Full-Fat Coconut Milk
- Phase B (Lipid Phase)
- 2 tbsp (30 mL / 28g) Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, melted
- Phase C (Humectant)
- 1 tbsp (15 mL / 21g) Raw Honey
Method & application
- Whisk liquid coconut milk and raw honey in a glass beaker until honey dissolves.
- Warm coconut oil until liquefied (approximately 30°C) and drizzle into the milk mixture while whisking rapidly.
- Continue whisking until a creamy emulsion is formed.
- APPLICATION
- Apply evenly through damp hair using fingertips or a wide-tooth comb.
- Focus application on mid-lengths and ends.
- Allow the mask to absorb for 20 minutes before rinsing thoroughly with warm water and a mild shampoo.
Kitchen note
Apply to damp, not soaking wet, hair, excess water dilutes the mask and reduces how well the coconut oil can bond to the hair shaft.
