Coconut oil's medium-chain fatty acids are small enough to actually penetrate the hair shaft rather than just coating it, which is what sets coconut-based hair treatments apart from most oils.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Aqueous Phase)
- ½ cup (120 mL / 120g) Full-Fat Coconut Milk (Cocos nucifera)
- Phase B (Active / Nourishing Phase)
- 1 Ripe Medium Avocado (Persea americana), pitted and peeled
- 1 tbsp (15 mL / 21g) Raw Honey
Method & application
- Place peeled avocado into a high-speed blender or food processor.
- Pour in full-fat coconut milk and raw honey.
- Puree on high speed for 60 seconds until completely smooth and velvety with no visible avocado chunks or fibers remaining.
- Strain through a fine-mesh sieve or nut milk bag into a bowl to guarantee a lump-free application.
- APPLICATION
- Section clean, damp hair into 4 quadrants.
- Apply conditioner liberally from root to tip, ensuring thorough saturation of dry ends.
- Cover hair with a shower cap and wrap with a warm towel. Leave on for 20–30 minutes.
- Rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water, followed by a light shampoo if needed.
Kitchen note
Use a nut milk bag rather than a mesh sieve if you have one on hand, it strains far more thoroughly and takes the residue risk to near zero.
