Coconut Milk Body Scrub
Turbinado or raw sugar has larger, coarser crystals than standard white sugar, giving this scrub a more assertive texture suited to genuinely rough areas like heels and elbows.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Exfoliant Base)
- 1 cup (200g) Granulated Raw Sugar or Turbinado Sugar
- Phase B (Liquid & Lipid Phase)
- ¼ cup (60 mL / 60g) Full-Fat Coconut Milk
- 2 tbsp (30 mL / 28g) Extra Virgin Coconut Oil, melted
Method & application
- Measure granulated sugar into a dry mixing bowl.
- Stir melted coconut oil into the coconut milk.
- Pour the liquid phase over the sugar and stir gently with a spoon until evenly moistened.
- APPLICATION
- Stand in shower and scoop scrub onto damp skin.
- Rub gently in circular motions across arms, legs, and torso for 2–3 minutes.
- Rinse off with warm shower water and pat dry.
Kitchen note
Melt the coconut oil just to liquid, not hot, pouring hot oil directly onto sugar can start to dissolve the crystal edges before you've even applied the scrub.
