Before you start
Before you start
This large formula requires a 12-cup Bundt pan; a single small loaf pan is unsuitable. Ingredients should be at room temperature for an even creamed batter.
Serving and keeping
Keep cooled unfrosted cake wrapped for 3 days or freeze up to 2 months.
Alternate for Emulsion
Alternate 3 cups dry ingredients with 1 cup camel milk, ending dry. This keeps the high-fat batter stable.
Troubleshoot
- Dense: poor creaming.
- Curdled: eggs cold or added too fast.
- Dry: overbaked.
- Gummy streak: flour not evenly folded.
