Ingredients
- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/4 cup sliced almonds
- 2 tbsp dried apricots, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp sunflower seeds
- 1 1/2 cups cold camel milk
- Pinch fine salt
- Honey, to taste
Method
- Combine oats, almonds, apricots, sunflower seeds and salt.
- Pour camel milk over and stir until every oat is moistened.
- Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours for chew or overnight for softer muesli.
- Stir thoroughly from the bottom before serving.
- Loosen with cold camel milk if the oats have absorbed more liquid than desired.
- Taste before adding honey because hydrated apricots sweeten the milk; finish with fresh fruit if desired.

Use the sensory cues in the method rather than treating the clock as the only measure of doneness.
Ingredient Intelligence
Camel milk is handled gently throughout these recipes; avoid unnecessary hard boiling and make liquid adjustments in small increments.
Make-Ahead & Storage
Refrigerate promptly in covered containers. Keep crisp toppings and fresh fruit separate until service so texture survives.
Serving Strategy
Balance creamy bases with something fresh, crisp, tart, toasted, or aromatic rather than simply adding more sweetness or richness.
Kitchen note
This is a good introductory camel milk recipe if you're new to the ingredient, no heat involved at all, so there's nothing to manage beyond tasting and adjusting sweetness.
