Camel Milk Lip Balm
Lip skin has no oil glands of its own, so it depends entirely on external barrier support, this is why the formula skews heavily toward waxes and oils (anhydrous) rather than water-based ingredients.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Wax / Hard Fats)
- 2 tbsp (28g) Beeswax Pellets
- 2 tbsp (30 mL / 28g) Unrefined Coconut Oil
- Phase B (Dry Active & Humectant)
- 1 tbsp (8g) Whole Camel Milk Powder
- 1 tsp (5 mL / 7g) Raw Honey
Method & application
- Combine beeswax pellets and coconut oil in a double boiler over low heat until completely melted.
- Whisk camel milk powder slowly into the melted oil/wax mixture until fully dissolved and grit-free.
- Stir in raw honey vigorously until blended.
- Carefully pour the hot liquid balm into lip balm tubes or small metal tins using a mini funnel or dropper.
- Leave undisturbed at room temperature for 20 minutes until solidified.
- APPLICATION
- Glide onto lips as needed throughout the day for moisture and barrier protection.
Kitchen note
Pour into tubes while the mixture is still fully liquid but no longer steaming hot, pouring too hot can cause the wax to set unevenly with a sunken top; pouring too cool causes it to set before it fully fills the tube cavity.
