Camel Milk Body Lotion
This is the batch-sized, body-scale version of the same emulsion principle used in the Overnight Moisturizer, but here coconut oil and shea butter replace almond oil and beeswax for a richer, more occlusive finish appropriate to larger body surfaces and rougher skin like elbows and knees.

Ingredients
- Phase A (Aqueous Phase)
- ½ cup (120 mL / 120g) Liquid Camel Milk
- Phase B (Lipid / Butter Phase)
- ¼ cup (60 mL / 55g) Unrefined Coconut Oil (Cocos nucifera)
- 2 tbsp (30g) Raw Shea Butter (Vitellaria paradoxa)
- Phase C (Antioxidant)
- 1 tsp (5 mL / 4.5g) Vitamin E Oil
Method & application
- Melt coconut oil and shea butter together in a double boiler over gentle heat until liquid. Remove from heat.
- In a separate container, gently bring camel milk to room temperature / lukewarm.
- Slowly pour camel milk into the melted fats while whipping continuously with an immersion hand blender.
- Drizzle in Vitamin E oil and whip for another 2–3 minutes until a soft lotion consistency forms.
- Transfer into a sanitized pump bottle or pump-top jar.
- APPLICATION
- Apply generously over arms, legs, and torso immediately after showering while skin is still slightly damp to lock in maximum hydration.
Kitchen note
Whip in two stages: get it to a soft-peak consistency, refrigerate for 5 minutes, then whip again briefly right before bottling. This two-stage whip gives a noticeably fluffier, more stable final texture than one continuous whip.
